Before learning to read and write, Ricardo Casado was already expressing himself through drawing. Painting became his first language, a natural gift that was manifested in childhood and, far from being temporary, evolved into a profound vocation that he has cultivated continuously throughout his life.

From a very young age, he found in art both an intimate refuge and, at the same time, a bridge to others: a way to understand reality, process emotion, and communicate what cannot always be expressed through words. This organic relationship with artistic creation definitively shaped his identity and his aesthetic vision.

 

The experience accumulated throughout his artistic trajectory has been the foundation upon which his current work is built. Each stage of training, every project, and every exploration have contributed to precisely defining the visual language that distinguishes him today, establishing him as a contemporary reference with a strong and recognizable aesthetic identity.

 

In 2011, after decades of artistic exploration and creative maturation, Ricardo Casado created Luzzismo, a unique pictorial proposal that radically transforms the experience of painting. Luzzismo introduces artificial light as an essential element of visual language, establishing a profound dialogue between light, color, and form.
